50 MBd digital isolation for high-speed links
The TLP2367(TPR,E is a single-channel digital optocoupler from Toshiba rated at 50 MBd data rate with a push-pull, totem-pole output that eliminates the need for a pull-up resistor on the output side. The 3750 Vrms isolation rating provides galvanic separation for safety-rated interfaces in motor drives, PLCs, and isolated communication ports.
Propagation delay and transient immunity for timing margin
Maximum propagation delay is 20 ns for both tpLH and tpHL, which keeps skew low enough for 50 MBd NRZ data without bit errors. Common-mode transient immunity is a minimum 25 kV/µs — this matters when the optocoupler sits between a noisy power stage and a sensitive controller, because a fast dV/dt on the isolation barrier can couple through parasitic capacitance and corrupt the output. The 25 kV/µs floor means the output stays clean through the switching edges of a 600 V SiC or IGBT bridge.
