35 ns trr — fast enough for most SMPS secondary rectification
The CRH01(TE85R,Q,M) is a standard recovery diode from Toshiba, rated 200 V reverse voltage and 1 A average forward current. Its 35 ns reverse recovery time puts it in the fast-recovery class, suitable for secondary-side rectification in switch-mode power supplies and freewheeling diodes in low-power DC-DC converters. The 980 mV forward voltage drop at 1 A is typical for a 200 V rated silicon diode — expect a few percent efficiency loss in a 5 V output rail, but acceptable for general-purpose designs.
SOD-123F — small footprint, hot-air rework friendly
Housed in a SOD-123F package (S-FLAT 1.6x3.5 mm), this diode is a surface-mount part with a low profile — about 1.1 mm tall. The package is small enough for dense PCB layouts but large enough to hand-solder or hot-air rework without a microscope. The cathode is marked with a band; orientation is unambiguous.
Toshiba lists the CRH01(TE85R,Q,M) as active product status. The part is ROHS3 compliant, so no exemption expiry concerns for EU or California markets. For a production BOM, this diode qualifies as a low-risk, readily available component.
