2.6V fixed LDO in a 1x1 mm BGA
The Texas Instruments LP5900TL-2.6/NOPB is a single-output, positive fixed linear regulator delivering 150 mA at 2.6 V from a maximum input of 5.5 V. It comes in a 4-DSBGA package measuring 1x1 mm. Dropout is specified at 0.15 V max at full load.
PSRR and quiescent — what they mean for the rail
The 85 dB PSRR at 100 Hz drops to 40 dB at 100 kHz. Quiescent current is 50 µA typical, with a maximum supply current of 230 µA.
Package and layout notes
The 4-DSBGA (1x1 mm) package has no leads — it is a wafer-level chip-scale package with solder bumps on the bottom. That means the PCB land pattern needs to match the 4-ball array, and rework requires hot-air or reflow equipment; hand-soldering is not practical. The part includes Enable, Over-Temperature, and Short-Circuit protection. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, covering industrial and outdoor telecom environments.
