The 1.5SMC9.1CA M6G: Its 7.78 V reverse standoff and 13.4 V maximum clamping voltage define the protection window for whatever circuit sits behind it. The 117 A peak pulse current is the current the diode conducts at the clamping voltage during that same pulse, which is the current the upstream supply must survive without collapsing. The minimum breakdown of 8.65 V sets the conduction threshold; the maximum clamping voltage of 13.4 V at peak pulse current is the voltage the protected load actually sees. Junction temperature is rated -55°C to 150°C — the 150°C ceiling is the allowable die temperature under the package thermal resistance, and the board-level θJA determines the continuous power derating curve.
