The 1.5SMC43CA M6G: At the rated 26A peak pulse current, the clamp voltage is 59.3V maximum — this is the voltage the protected circuit sees during the surge. The single bidirectional channel clamps both positive and negative transients in one DO-214AB package, eliminating the need for two series unidirectional parts on a bipolar line.
