The 1.5SMC43AHM6G: Clamping at 59.3 V max when hit with a 26 A surge, it shunts transients above the 36.8 V reverse standoff threshold — the rail it protects stays below the clamp voltage as long as the surge energy stays within the 1500 W envelope. The AEC-Q101 qualification means it passed the automotive-grade stress tests — 1000+ temperature cycles, H3TRB humidity bias, and ESD robustness per the JEDEC automotive discrete standard.
Board-fit and assembly
Supplied in tape-and-reel for pick-and-place. The reel quantity is manufacturer-standard for the SMC body. No special handling beyond standard MSL level 1 — the epoxy molding compound absorbs negligible moisture at room ambient.
