Automotive-grade transient suppressor
The 1.5KE82CAH: It clamps transients at 113 V maximum with a 70.1 V reverse standoff, protecting 48 V nominal rails from load-dump and inductive kickback events. The DO-201AA axial-lead package suits through-hole assembly on power-entry or distribution boards.
What the ratings mean on the bench
A 70.1 V standoff means the diode draws negligible leakage below that rail voltage — safe for continuous 48 V or 60 V nominal busses with margin. AEC-Q101 qualification adds wafer-level reliability screening and PPAP documentation for production traceability.
