Its reverse standoff voltage of 6.4V means it stays transparent below that level, then breaks down at a minimum of 7.13V and clamps at 11.3V at the full 139A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). The 1500W rating is the peak pulse power dissipation for the 10/1000µs exponential waveform — the device absorbs that energy without failing, provided the junction temperature stays within the -55°C to 175°C range.
