Transient protection for 6.4 V rails
The 1.5KE7.5A A0G: The 6.4 V reverse standoff voltage means the diode draws negligible leakage below that level, so it sits across a 5 V or 6 V supply bus without loading it during normal operation.
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead through-hole package, the 1.5KE7.5A A0G mounts into a standard 0.100-inch pitch hole pattern on the PCB. The DO-201 supplier device package is the same footprint used across the 1.5KE series, so the board layout is shared with other voltage variants in the family.
