The 1.5KE68CA A0G is a bidirectional Zener-type TVS diode in the DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead package, intended for through-hole mounting. The axial body and 0.042-inch lead diameter suit point-to-point wiring or PCB insertion with a 0.100-inch lead spacing pattern — the same footprint as industry-standard 1.5KE parts. The 58.1 V reverse standoff voltage defines the DC operating ceiling below which the diode presents high impedance; breakdown occurs at a minimum of 64.6 V, so a 48 V or 60 V nominal rail has margin before the device starts conducting.

Operating junction temperature range spans -55°C to 175°C, covering military and industrial ambient extremes. The 175°C upper limit allows the device to absorb repetitive pulse energy without derating the junction — relevant for avionics power buses and outdoor telecom rectifiers where ambient heat and transient stress coincide.
