Transient suppression for 58V DC rails
The 1.5KE68A R0G: The DO-201AA axial package fits standard through-hole layouts for board-level or panel-mount transient suppression.
Thermal and mechanical fit for the BOM
The junction temperature range spans -55°C to 175°C, covering industrial control cabinets, telecom outdoor enclosures, and automotive under-hood environments where ambient heat soaks the PCB. The axial DO-201 package (also known as DO-27) is a standard footprint — existing layouts for 1.5KE-series parts accept this without a board spin. Power line protection is not supported (no bidirectional clamping for AC mains), so this part is best suited for DC rail transient suppression — 24V, 48V, or 60V battery-backed buses where the reverse standoff voltage of 58.1V provides margin above the nominal rail.
Sourcing posture for this active TVS
The tape-and-reel packaging (TR suffix) suits automated pick-and-place assembly for the through-hole axial format.
