The 1.5KE51CAH: Its 43.6 V reverse standoff voltage and 48.5 V minimum breakdown voltage clamp transients to 70.1 V at 22 A peak pulse current, protecting a nominal 43.6 V DC rail from load-dump and inductive kickback events.
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead through-hole package, the 1.5KE51CAH mounts with standard 0.042-inch diameter leads. The DO-201 footprint is shared across the 1.5KE series, so a single PCB layout serves multiple voltage variants. Tape-and-reel packaging supports automated insertion for high-volume assembly.
