1500W automotive-grade transient suppressor

The 1.5KE30AH: It protects 24 V nominal rails from transients up to 41.4 V clamping voltage.

Package and board integration

Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial leaded package, the 1.5KE30AH mounts through-hole. The axial leads require a hole diameter of about 1.0 mm on the PCB. Keep the trace width from the TVS to the protected rail at least 2 mm for 38 A peak current without fusing the copper.

AEC-Q101 and automotive deployment

The -55°C to +175°C operating junction range covers under-hood and engine-bay thermal profiles. The 1500 W peak pulse rating is derated linearly above 25°C per the datasheet curve.
