1.5kW bidirectional clamp in a DO-201 axial can
The 1.5KE20CH: Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead package, it mounts through-hole — the same footprint as standard 1N62xx and P6KE series parts, making it a drop-in replacement for many legacy TVS sockets.
Automotive-grade transient suppression
The 1500W peak pulse rating at 25°C derates linearly above that; at 125°C ambient you still have roughly 1000W of surge capacity, enough for ISO 7637-2 load-dump pulses on a 12V rail. Bidirectional clamping means a single device protects both polarities on a signal or power line — useful for AC-coupled data lines or battery-reversal scenarios where the TVS sees voltage in either direction.
