1500 W surge clamp for 9.4 V rails
The 1.5KE11A B0G: When the protected rail exceeds the standoff, the device breaks down at 10.5 V minimum and clamps transients to 15.6 V maximum, shunting up to 100 A of peak pulse current. This is a unidirectional suppressor — one channel, cathode band to the protected rail, anode to ground. The DO-201AA axial package (also known as DO-27) mounts through hole and handles the 1500 W pulse without external heatsinking for single-event surges.
The wide TJ(max) means the device can absorb repeated surges at elevated ambient without derating the peak power below the 1500 W rating — but the derating curve in the datasheet governs above 25°C. Power line protection is not supported — the series is intended for DC signal and low-voltage power bus clamping, not AC mains. For a 12 V or 9 V DC rail, the 9.4 V standoff leaves margin above the nominal rail while clamping below the downstream IC's absolute maximum.
