1500 W surge rating and clamping behaviour
The 1.5KE110A R0G: The 94 V reverse standoff voltage is the continuous DC rail level where the diode remains off — below this, leakage is negligible. Breakdown occurs at 105 V minimum, meaning the device starts conducting when the transient pushes the rail past that threshold.
Operating temperature range and package
Junction temperature range spans -55°C to 175°C, covering the full industrial and much of the automotive under-hood thermal envelope. The wide margin above 125°C allows the device to absorb repetitive surges without derating the junction temperature ceiling. Housed in a DO-201AA / DO-27 axial through-hole package, the body is sized for the 1.5 kW dissipation — the lead frame and die attach are matched to the surge rating. The axial leads suit point-to-point wiring or PCB through-hole mounting with standard 0.100-inch pitch.
Active lifecycle and procurement posture
The 1.5KE series is a broad, mature product family; the 1.5KE110A R0G is the tape-and-reel variant of the unidirectional 110 V (Vbr min 105 V) device. The DO-201 package is common across the series, simplifying second-source qualification.
