The TSX393IYDT is a dual CMOS comparator in the standard 8-SOIC footprint. The 13 µA max quiescent current keeps the part's own draw below the leakage floor of most battery-powered sensor nodes — it won't drain a coin cell between wake cycles. The 10 pA max input bias means it won't load a high-impedance thermistor or photodiode front-end; the signal source sees essentially an open circuit. Supply range is 2.7 V to 16 V single supply, or ±1.35 V to ±8 V split. Input offset voltage is 5 mV max. That's fine for overvoltage/undervoltage detection, zero-crossing on a mains waveform, or window comparators where the threshold hysteresis dominates the accuracy budget. For precision measurement below a few millivolts, you'd step up to a zero-drift amplifier front-end.
Pin 1 is marked with a dot on the package top; the open-drain output on each comparator is unambiguous on the datasheet pinout. The surface-mount body reworks cleanly under hot air at 260°C peak per JEDEC J-STD-020; no hidden thermal pad to manage.
