Quad op-amp for automotive sensor conditioning
The STMicroelectronics TSV854AIYPT is a quad-channel general-purpose operational amplifier from the Automotive AEC-Q100 series, qualified for stress and reliability in vehicle environments. It delivers a 1.3 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a 0.7 V/µs slew rate — enough bandwidth for low-frequency sensor signal conditioning, temperature sensing, and level translation in body-control modules, battery-management systems, or cabin HVAC controllers. Each of the four amplifiers draws 130 µA of supply current, totalling 520 µA for the package. That quiescent budget makes this part a fit for always-on sensor interfaces in battery-backed ECUs or modules where the total current draw across multiple channels must stay under a few milliamps.
Input offset voltage is specified at 800 µV maximum, and input bias current at 27 nA — both typical for a general-purpose CMOS-input amplifier at this price tier. The 70 mA output current per channel can drive moderate loads such as ADC reference buffers or small relays directly.
Lifecycle and sourcing
ROHS3 compliant. No single-source risk here; the active lifecycle and multiple stocking channels support dual-sourcing strategies.
