Quad op-amp with automotive-grade qualification
The TSV854AIDT from STMicroelectronics is a quad general-purpose operational amplifier in a 14-SOIC package. Each of its four channels delivers a 1.3 MHz gain-bandwidth product with a 0.7 V/µs slew rate, making it suitable for sensor conditioning and signal buffering in automotive electronic control units. This means the op-amp maintains its parametric performance through engine-bay thermal cycling without derating.
Low-power rail-to-rail signal chain
Each amplifier draws 130 µA supply current, totalling 520 µA for all four channels. This low quiescent current suits battery-backed or always-on modules where every milliamp counts. Input offset voltage is 800 µV maximum, and input bias current is 27 nA — figures that let the amplifier interface directly with high-impedance sensors without additional buffer stages. Each channel can source or sink 70 mA, enough to drive the analog input of a typical automotive ADC or a small resistive load directly.
