Quad op-amp for automotive signal chains
The STMicroelectronics TS924IYPT is a quad (four-circuit) general-purpose operational amplifier qualified to AEC-Q100 for automotive applications. It delivers a 4 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a 1.3 V/µs slew rate — enough bandwidth for sensor conditioning, level shifting, and active filtering in engine-control or body-electronics modules. The rail-to-rail output stage lets each channel swing within millivolts of the supply rails, preserving dynamic range on a 2.7 V to 12 V single supply. Supply current is 1 mA per amplifier, so the full quad draws about 4 mA quiescent — a reasonable budget for a multi-channel signal-conditioning block.
Key ratings and what they mean for the BOM
