The STMicroelectronics T630-600W is a Snubberless™ Alternistor triac rated for 600 V off-state and 6 A RMS on-state continuous current, housed in an ISOWATT220AB-3 through-hole package.

Surge current and thermal headroom

Non-repetitive surge current is rated 80 A at 50 Hz and 84 A at 60 Hz, giving the device headroom for inrush from capacitive or motor-start loads.

Gate drive and hold current

Maximum gate trigger current is 30 mA and maximum gate trigger voltage is 1.3 V — compatible with standard MCU GPIOs through a series resistor or a small driver transistor. The 50 mA maximum hold current ensures the triac stays latched once triggered, even with lightly inductive loads that might otherwise drop below the holding threshold.
