Snubberless triac for 4 A AC loads — what it means on the bench
The STMicroelectronics T435T-600FP is a 4 A RMS, 600 V off-state Alternistor triac in a TO-220 Full Pack isolated package. The Snubberless (Alternistor) construction means it commutates inductive loads — motors, solenoids, transformers — without the external RC snubber that standard triacs need, saving two passives and a chunk of board space. The full-pack (fully isolated) tab lets you bolt it directly to a heatsink or chassis without an insulating pad, which simplifies thermal management in industrial and appliance power stages. Junction temperature range is -40°C to 125°C. Gate trigger current is 35 mA max, holding current 35 mA max.
