12 A Snubberless™ triac for inductive-load switching
The STMicroelectronics T1235H-6I is a 12 A RMS Snubberless™ Alternistor triac in a TO-220 through-hole package, rated for 600 V off-state blocking. It is designed for AC load switching where inductive kickback would otherwise demand an external RC snubber — the Snubberless™ construction handles high dV/dt commutation internally. Typical applications include solid-state relays, motor speed controllers, heating elements, and lighting dimmers in industrial and appliance environments. The junction temperature range of -40°C to 150°C covers hot enclosures and cold start conditions.
