The STWA75N60DM6 is an N-channel 600 V, 72 A power MOSFET from ST's MDmesh™ DM6 series, built on a fast-recovery body diode process that cuts reverse-recovery charge in bridge topologies. It is a through-hole device in a TO-247-3 package with long leads, intended for high-voltage power conversion — PFC stages, LLC resonant converters, and full-bridge phase-shift DC-DC converters where the DM6 diode's softer recovery reduces EMI and switching loss.
The MDmesh DM6 process balances on-resistance and gate charge to keep conduction and switching losses in check at 50-100 kHz hard-switched frequencies.
