Fast recovery characteristic — ≤500 ns at >200 mA — makes it suitable for switching frequencies in the tens of kHz range typical of offline power converters. Reverse leakage is 16 mA at 15 V, a figure that rises with junction temperature; the maximum junction temperature is 125 °C. The dual-diode configuration in a single TO-247-3 package reduces component count and PCB area for center-tap full-wave rectification or dual-output OR-ing. Each diode handles 40 A continuously; the package thermal pad must be considered for full-load dissipation.
