170 V, 30 A common-cathode Schottky
Housed in a TO-247-3 through-hole package, it targets high-efficiency power conversion where low forward voltage drop and fast switching are required.
Conduction loss and thermal budget
At 30 A forward current, the maximum forward voltage drop is 840 mV. The 60 µA reverse leakage at 170 V is typical for a 170 V Schottky; leakage rises exponentially with junction temperature, so the 175 °C maximum junction rating sets the thermal design boundary.
The TO-247-3 package has a large copper tab for heatsinking; the common-cathode diodes share the tab, so the heatsink is at cathode potential — factor that into insulation and mounting hardware choices.
