120V, 20A dual Schottky in a TO-262 I2PAK
The STPS40M120CR is a dual Schottky rectifier from STMicroelectronics, pairing two 20A diodes with a common cathode in a single TO-262-3 I2PAK package. Each diode is rated for 120V reverse voltage and delivers fast recovery switching — ≤500ns at currents above 200mA. This configuration is typical for center-tapped secondary rectification in switch-mode power supplies, where the common cathode connects to the output rail and the two anodes take the transformer secondary windings.
Forward drop and leakage at the junction limit
Maximum forward voltage is 790 mV at 20 A, and reverse leakage is 370 µA at 120 V. The junction temperature ceiling is 150°C.
