Schottky pair for high-current OR-ing and output rectification
The STPS40150CG is a 150 V, 20 A per diode common-cathode Schottky rectifier array from STMicroelectronics, housed in a D2PAK (TO-263) surface-mount package. It pairs two Schottky diodes with a shared cathode, rated for fast recovery under 500 ns at currents above 200 mA. Typical applications include OR-ing diodes in redundant power supplies, output rectification in switch-mode converters, and freewheeling diodes in motor drives and battery chargers.
Forward voltage and thermal budget
The junction is rated to 175 °C maximum.
Reverse leakage and blocking
At the full 150 V reverse voltage, leakage is specified at 8 µA typical.
The D2PAK (TO-263-3) is a surface-mount power package with a large exposed tab for the common cathode connection. The tab is electrically live — ensure the PCB pad is isolated or connected to the cathode rail. Reflow profile follows standard lead-free soldering; the part is ROHS3 compliant.
