3 A, 60 V Schottky — the key ratings
A Schottky barrier rectifier rated for 3 A average rectified current (Io) and 60 V maximum reverse voltage (Vr). The forward voltage is 620 mV maximum at the full 3 A forward current — this is the conduction loss floor at rated load. Reverse leakage is 150 µA at the 60 V reverse bias. The recovery speed is rated as Fast Recovery =< 500 ns, > 200 mA (Io). This places it in the fast-recovery Schottky class, suitable for switching power supplies and freewheeling diode applications where reverse-recovery losses matter.
DO-201AD axial — legacy footprint, through-hole assembly
Housed in a DO-201AD axial-lead through-hole package. The two axial leads are soldered into plated through-holes on the PCB. This is a legacy package format — the body is cylindrical, and the leads are trimmed and formed for vertical or horizontal mounting depending on the lead-bend profile.
