The recovery time is rated ≤ 500 ns at forward current above 200 mA. This is a Schottky diode, so recovery is majority-carrier — the fast recovery spec confirms it handles the reverse-recovery transient cleanly in a 50–200 kHz switching power supply without the snap-off characteristic of an ultrafast PN diode.
