Common-cathode pair — one tab, two anodes
The two diodes share a common cathode (the exposed tab), with separate anode pins. This configuration is standard for output rectification in a center-tapped or push-pull secondary — the common cathode connects directly to the output rail, and each anode ties to one half of the transformer winding. The D²PAK tab is the cathode, so the heatsink or PCB copper plane is at output potential, not ground.
60 V reverse voltage — derating for real-world rails
The 60 V Vr(max) rating suits 24 V and 48 V DC buses with reasonable derating. On a 48 V nominal rail (typically 54 V at the high end of float), you're at 90 % of the rating — thin margin for transients. If your design sees spikes above 60 V, step up to an 80 V or 100 V Schottky in the same package family. The 80 µA leakage at 60 V is a room-temperature typical; at 125 °C junction it can multiply by 10× or more, so factor that into standby-loss calculations.
