This is not a last-time-buy window — it is end-of-life, meaning the factory line has stopped. Any units on the market today are new-old-stock or surplus pulled from distribution overstock. If your BOM calls this exact TO-220 Full Pack variant, you are sourcing through the independent channel, not the factory.
30 A, 45 V Schottky in an isolated tab
The forward voltage drop is 620 mV at the full 30 A rating, which sets the conduction loss for a high-current OR-ing diode or secondary-side rectifier. Reverse leakage sits at 300 µA at the 45 V blocking voltage — expect that to climb with junction temperature, as it does with any Schottky.
175°C junction — the thermal reality of the Full Pack
The junction is rated to 175°C maximum, which is standard for a power Schottky. The trade-off with the TO-220FPAC package is thermal resistance: the plastic encapsulation adds roughly 2-3 °C/W over a standard TO-220 with a metal tab. At 30 A continuous the die dissipates about 18.6 W at the 620 mV Vf — that heat has to move through the plastic to the heatsink. If your design runs the diode near its current limit, the heatsink area needs to be larger than what a standard TO-220 would require for the same junction temperature.
Fast recovery — Schottky speed, no stored charge
Listed as Fast Recovery (≤ 500 ns, > 200 mA Io). A Schottky has no minority-carrier stored charge, switching off in nanoseconds.
