Reverse leakage is specified at 25 µA at the 80 V maximum reverse voltage. The junction temperature rating of 175°C allows operation in thermally demanding environments like power supplies and DC-DC converters where Schottky's low forward drop reduces conduction loss.
This means STMicroelectronics no longer manufactures it, and no last-time-buy window is open. For BOM lines that still specify this order code, the supply route is the independent distribution channel — verified surplus, new-old-stock, or broker inventory.
Fast recovery and switching fit
The 80 V reverse voltage provides adequate margin for 48 V bus rails and 24 V industrial supplies.
Housed in a TO-220-3 through-hole package with a common-cathode pinout — the center pin is the shared cathode, outer pins are the anodes. The metal tab is electrically connected to the cathode, so an insulating pad and washer are needed if heatsinking to a grounded chassis. Through-hole mounting suits point-of-load assemblies and hand-solder rework.
