Dual Schottky in a TO-220 — what the ratings tell you
The STPS20SM60CT is a dual Schottky rectifier from STMicroelectronics, pairing two 10 A diodes in a common-cathode configuration inside a single TO-220-3 through-hole package. The 60 V reverse voltage rating and 645 mV forward drop at 10 A per diode make it a fit for 48 V bus OR-ing, output rectification in switch-mode supplies, and freewheeling diodes in motor drives where the Schottky's low Vf and fast recovery (≤500 ns above 200 mA) reduce switching losses compared to a standard PN junction.

No official successor is recorded, so the replacement search should focus on a pin-compatible common-cathode Schottky in TO-220-3 with matching 60 V / 10 A per diode ratings.
Thermal and leakage — the real-world limits
Junction temperature is capped at 150 °C max — the TO-220 tab needs a heatsink sized for the total power dissipation of both diodes at the load current. Reverse leakage is 40 µA at 60 V and 25 °C, but rises exponentially with junction temperature; above 100 °C the leakage current can dominate the thermal budget, so the heatsink design should keep the junction well below the 150 °C ceiling under continuous load.
