Product details

Schottky rectifier for 100 V, 20 A power rails

The STPS20M100ST is a 100 V, 20 A Schottky barrier rectifier from STMicroelectronics in a TO-220 through-hole package. It is designed for high-current applications such as switch-mode power supply output rectification, freewheeling diodes, and reverse-polarity protection where low forward voltage and fast switching are needed.

Forward drop and conduction loss at rated current

Reverse leakage and blocking voltage margin

Maximum reverse leakage is 40 µA at 100 V reverse voltage. For a 48 V bus or 60 V rail this leaves at least 40 V of blocking margin, well within typical derating guidelines. The 100 V rating also covers 80 V bus systems with headroom for transients.

It is ROHS3 compliant.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum junction temperature for the STPS20M100ST?

The maximum junction temperature is 150°C. This is the absolute limit for the silicon die; continuous operation should be derated based on the thermal resistance of the TO-220 package and heatsink.
