The STMicroelectronics STPS20LCD200CBTR is a 200 V, 10 A Schottky rectifier in a DPAK surface-mount package, rated for fast recovery (≤ 500 ns at > 200 mA). It is designed for high-frequency switching power supplies, freewheeling diodes, and OR-ing circuits where low forward voltage and fast turn-off reduce switching losses. The 950 mV forward voltage drop at 10 A is typical for a 200 V Schottky at this current rating — expect higher conduction loss than a lower-voltage Schottky, but the 200 V blocking margin handles flyback spikes and bus transients in 48 V to 72 V systems without derating stress.
Leakage and thermal — the junction temperature ceiling
Reverse leakage is specified at 5 µA at the full 200 V blocking voltage — a clean number for a 10 A Schottky at this voltage class, but leakage doubles with every 10 °C rise in junction temperature. The maximum junction temperature is 175 °C, which gives headroom for high-ambient or poorly-ventilated enclosures, but the thermal design must keep the junction below that limit under worst-case load and ambient.
