Dual 10 A Schottky in a D2PAK — the low-Vf choice for 25 V rails
Its forward voltage drops to 460 mV at 10 A per diode, which keeps conduction losses low in high-frequency rectification and OR-ing applications. The fast recovery spec (under 500 ns) qualifies it for switching supplies running above line frequency, not just 50/60 Hz mains rectification.
Obsolete — no direct ST replacement on record
STMicroelectronics lists the STPS20L25CG-TR as obsolete.
Package and thermal path — D2PAK tab is the heatsink
The TO-263-3 / D2PAK package (2 leads plus tab) is a surface-mount power package. The exposed tab carries the common cathode and is the primary thermal path — PCB copper area and via stitching under the tab determine the junction temperature at 10 A continuous per diode. Operating junction temperature maxes at 150 °C, so the thermal design needs to keep the tab below about 120 °C at full load to stay inside the SOA.
