The 570 mV forward voltage at 10 A is typical for a 45 V Schottky at this current density — low enough to keep conduction losses manageable in a 24 V or 36 V output supply, but not as low as a 30 V Schottky would be. The 100 µA reverse leakage at 45 V is a hot-temperature spec; expect it to rise with junction temperature, so budget derating if the heatsink runs above 100°C.
Common-cathode pair in I2PAK — board-level fit
One I2PAK (TO-262) package replaces two discrete TO-220 diodes, saving PCB area and reducing assembly cost. The through-hole I2PAK body has a metal tab that can be bolted to a heatsink or soldered to a copper plane — the tab is the common cathode, so no insulating pad is needed if the heatsink is at output potential.
175°C junction — high-temp environments
Rated for a maximum junction temperature of 175°C, this rectifier is suited for under-hood automotive, industrial motor drives, and sealed power supplies where ambient temperatures push 85–105°C. The 175°C Tj ceiling gives thermal headroom for continuous 10 A per diode with a modest heatsink, but the reverse leakage at 45 V will double or triple near that limit — factor that into your worst-case dissipation calculation.
