The STMicroelectronics STPS1L60 is a 60 V, 1 A Schottky rectifier in a through-hole DO-41 axial package. It is specified for fast-recovery applications with a reverse recovery time ≤ 500 ns at forward currents above 200 mA. The forward voltage drop is 570 mV at the rated 1 A forward current, which keeps conduction losses low in low-voltage rectification and polarity-protection circuits. Reverse leakage at 60 V is 50 µA, a typical figure for a 60 V Schottky at this current class.
DO-41 axial package — legacy footprint considerations
The STPS1L60 is supplied in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial-lead package, shipped in Tape & Box format. This is a through-hole package intended for hand-insertion or wave-solder assembly. The axial leads require a 0.025-inch diameter hole on 0.200-inch lead spacing typical of legacy power-supply and rectifier layouts. For new designs, a surface-mount Schottky in a similar voltage/current class (e.g., SMA or SMB) would reduce board area and assembly cost, but the DO-41 remains the correct fit for retrofits and repair of existing boards.
