Ratings that matter for the BOM
The 150 V reverse voltage sets the maximum DC bus you can block — fine for 48 V telecom rails and 72 V battery stacks, but not for 120 VAC rectified lines. The 8 A per diode average current means the package handles 16 A total when both diodes share the load, but thermal derating in the D2PAK at elevated junction temperature (max 175 °C) will reduce that in practice. The 920 mV forward drop at 8 A is typical for a 150 V Schottky — expect higher losses than a lower-voltage part, but the speed (≤500 ns recovery) keeps switching losses manageable in a 100–200 kHz converter.
