The STPS10H100CG is a 100 V, 5 A Schottky rectifier from STMicroelectronics, configured as a common-cathode pair in a single D2PAK package. The 100 V reverse voltage gives headroom for 48 V or 60 V bus rails, and the 3.5 µA leakage at 100 V is low enough to avoid thermal runaway in most designs.
STMicroelectronics lists the STPS10H100CG as obsolete. That means no new factory orders — the only channel is independent distribution, where we source verified stock against an RFQ. If you're qualifying a new design, look for a current-production 100 V Schottky in D2PAK with similar forward voltage; if you're filling a BOM line for an existing build, we can quote the available surplus.
Surface-mount D2PAK (TO-263-3) with two leads plus the tab. The tab is the common cathode — the same potential as pin 2 and 4 on the dual-diode layout. The exposed pad needs a good solder joint to the copper pour for thermal performance; without it, junction temperature climbs fast above 5 A continuous.
175 °C junction — thermal budget
Rated for a maximum junction temperature of 175 °C, which is standard for Schottky diodes in this class. That 175 °C limit governs the derating: at 5 A per diode with 730 mV Vf, each diode dissipates about 3.65 W. With the D2PAK's thermal resistance, you'll need adequate copper area and airflow to keep the junction below that ceiling in a 85 °C ambient.
