170 V, 5 A dual Schottky in a TO-262 package
The through-hole TO-262 (I2PAK) package handles the thermal load with the tab as the cathode common terminal.
Forward drop and leakage at temperature
At 5 A forward current the maximum forward voltage is 920 mV, a typical Schottky figure that keeps conduction losses manageable in a 5 A leg. Reverse leakage is specified at 10 µA at the 170 V blocking voltage; expect leakage to rise with junction temperature up to the 175°C maximum operating junction. The dual-die common-cathode configuration lets you parallel the two diodes for a 10 A total output or use them as independent rectifiers sharing the same cathode connection.
STMicroelectronics lists the STPS10170CR as obsolete. No direct replacement order code is published in the available records. We can quote current availability and pricing against an RFQ; given the obsolete status, lead times and lot traceability vary and should be confirmed at order time.
