2.625V threshold — where it trips and why that matters
The STM806RM6F monitors a single supply rail and asserts a reset when the voltage drops below 2.625V. That threshold sits between the common 2.5V and 3.0V supervisor trip points — it's designed for a 3.3V rail that needs to hold above 2.7V to keep downstream logic from corrupting state, but can tolerate a dip to 2.5V before the processor browns out. For a 3.3V MCU with a 2.7V minimum operating voltage, this supervisor gives about 75mV of noise margin before the reset fires. The reset timeout is 140ms minimum — long enough to let the main supply rail settle after power-up, but short enough that a 3.3V rail with a 10µF output cap and a 1A load step won't keep the system in reset long enough to miss a real-time event. The push-pull output drives the reset line high or low without an external pull-up resistor, saving a component and one PCB trace.
