What the reset timeout and thresholds mean for your design
The STM6778SVWB6F: The 140 ms minimum reset timeout ensures that the downstream microcontroller or FPGA sees a clean, extended reset pulse after a brownout or power-on event, long enough for all supply rails to settle and the oscillator to stabilise before the processor starts executing code. The thresholds are fixed internally, so no external resistor dividers are needed — the decision is baked into the part selection.
Package and board-fit: SOT-23-6
The SOT-23-6 package (supplier device package: SOT-23-6) occupies roughly 3 mm × 3 mm on the board. The six-pin count leaves two pins for the reset output and the two monitored inputs, plus VDD and GND.
