The STM32L4Q5ZGT6 is an STMicroelectronics 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 MCU running at 120 MHz, with 1 MB of Flash and 320 KB of SRAM. It packs 115 I/O lines, a 16-channel 12-bit ADC, a dual 12-bit DAC, and a full suite of connectivity: CAN, USB OTG, SPI, I²C, UART, and an external memory interface (EBI/EMI).
Active and available — no LTB clock ticking
The 144-LQFP package is a standard, widely second-sourced footprint, so board layout risk is low.
Industrial temperature grade — where it goes
The 1.71 V minimum supply also makes it a candidate for battery-powered field instruments where the rail sags during discharge.
Analog on-chip — fewer external parts
For a sensor hub or a closed-loop motor controller, that saves board space and BOM line items. The internal oscillator further reduces external component count — just add decoupling and the supply.
