The STM32L496VGT6TR is an STMicroelectronics 32-bit MCU built around an ARM Cortex-M4 core clocked at 80 MHz, with 1 MB of Flash program memory and 320 KB of SRAM. That memory map is the first thing to check: 1 MB Flash holds a full application stack including a real-time OS and communications protocol layers, while 320 KB RAM gives you room for data buffers and stack without reaching for external SRAM.
