Product details

80 MHz Cortex-M4 with FPU — what it buys you

Connectivity and I/O — peripheral set at a glance

Fifty-two GPIOs are brought out on the 64-LQFP package. The peripheral list includes CANbus, USB (device/OTG), QSPI for external Flash or RAM, SAI for audio codecs, multiple I²C and SPI ports, and UART/USART with IrDA and LIN support. The MMC/SD interface lets you log data directly to a microSD card without a separate controller. The integrated 12-bit ADC has 16 multiplexed channels; the single 12-bit DAC covers one analog output. Internal oscillator is on-chip, so you can save two pins and a crystal if the application tolerates the internal RC accuracy.

Package and temperature grade — board-fit details

The CT (Cut Tape) option is also listed for prototype quantities.

No last-time-buy notice is in effect, and the part is still in regular production. ROHS3 compliant.

Frequently asked questions

How many I/O pins does STM32L452RET6TR have?

The STM32L452RET6TR provides 52 I/O pins, brought out on the 64-LQFP package.

What is the difference between STM32L452RET6TR and STM32L452RET6?

The only difference is the packaging format: the TR suffix denotes Tape & Reel, while the base part number without TR typically ships in Tray or Tube. The silicon, firmware, and electrical specifications are identical.
