The STM32L052K8T7: The STM32L052K8T6 is ST's ultra-low-power entry in the STM32L0 series, built around an ARM Cortex-M0+ core clocked at 32 MHz. On-chip peripherals include a 12-bit ADC with 10 channels, a single 12-bit DAC, and a full-speed USB 2.0 interface, plus the usual I2C, SPI, and USART serial ports.
Memory sizing and the firmware budget
The 2 KB EEPROM is a genuine separate array — not emulated in Flash — so you can write single bytes without sector-erase overhead. If your firmware image plus data logging exceeds 64 KB, you step up to the STM32L073 series (192 KB Flash) or move to the STM32L1 family, which offers up to 512 KB Flash at the same 32 MHz core speed.
