The STM32H742VIT6TR: This is the performance tier for applications that need real-time DSP, graphics rendering, or high-speed control — think motor drives, industrial HMI panels, audio processing, and IoT gateways that aggregate multiple sensor streams. The 480 MHz core, combined with the Cortex-M7's single-cycle multiply-accumulate and double-precision FPU, handles FFTs and filter loops without an external DSP. The 2 MB Flash gives room for a full RTOS, TCP/IP stack, and a GUI library; the 688K x 8 RAM supports large frame buffers or data logging without external SRAM.
