The STM32G491CCT3TR is an STMicroelectronics 32-bit MCU built around the ARM Cortex-M4 core with FPU, running at 170 MHz. The 48-LQFP package (7x7 mm) keeps the board footprint compact and is hand-solderable with a decent hot-air station, though the exposed pad underneath wants a via stitch for thermal relief if the core runs sustained loads above 100 mA.
Peripheral set — CAN, QSPI, high-resolution timers
Connectivity includes CANbus, I²C, SPI, UART/USART, USB, and QSPI — the latter useful for memory-mapped external Flash or PSRAM expansion. The 18-channel 12-bit SAR ADC and four 12-bit DACs cover multi-axis analog feedback without external muxing. Brown-out detect, POR, and a windowed watchdog are on-die, so a simple external supervisor is optional. For firmware bring-up, SWD stays alive even with the watchdog armed, and the internal oscillator lets the chip run before the external crystal is fitted.
Listed as Active by STMicroelectronics. The Tape & Reel variant (TR suffix) is the standard production reel; the tray variant (T3 suffix) is also available for prototype or low-volume builds.
